Although logging is enabled in the Remote Boost Receiver settings, there is no logging created on the disk.
Problem:
In case of problems with ZCentral Remote Boost creating logging could help to solve the problem. But although the logging is enabled in the settings or in the ReceiverConfigApp.exe, no logging is created on the disk.
Resolution:
By default the logfile is created in C:\Program Files\HP\Remote Graphics Receiver as rg.log.
But if this file doesn’t exist no logging will take place.
So first create an empty file with the name rg.log on that location (or any other location as desired)
Confgure / select this file.
Close all open receiver sessions and restart them.
Log file will now be created.
