HP has released a new Service Pack for HP Device Manager 5.0
New Features in 5.0.8
- Adds support for the Fall Refresh 2021
- Updates Log4j to version 2.17.1
- Updates PostgreSQL JDBC driver
- Updates Profile Editor in HPDM to version 7.2.0.5
- Optimizes strategy of cached deploy image on ThinPro 7.2 to skip network check
- Updates JRE, OpenSSL, Apache, PHP, and Jetty in HPDM to the latest versions to help prevent the occurrence of
vulnerabilities
Issues fixed in HPDM 5.0.8.
- Fixed an issue where startup report would incorrectly trigger rules
- Fixed an issue where rule would be sent to wrong devices when filter uses OR/NOT
- Fixed an issue where dynamic property task would fail on ThinPro when no software is installed
- Fixed an issue where the Device Importer won’t take the same input file as before
- Fixed an issue where dynamic properties would fail to update in time
