'Write Filter Full' notifications on fresh installed Thin Clients.
On some Windows 10 IoT Thin Client models users receive notifications that the Write Filter is full. This happens very quickly after boot up.
The write filter file exclusions appears to be missing on Thin Clients that exhibit this behavior.
Make sure that the File Exclusion contain the following entries:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Defender
- C:\Program Files\HP\HP Write Manager\HPProfile.xml
- C:\Program Files\HP\HP Write Manager\Rule\HPProfileActive.xml
- C:\Program Files\Windows Defender
- C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender
- C:\Windows\System32\spp\store
- C:\Windows\Temp\MpCmdRun.log
- C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log
- C:\Windows\xpeagent
